In the human world, vomiting all over your date is not considered a pleasant end to a perfect evening -- but in the avian world, it could mean true love.

Once a year my Indian Ringneck “falls in love” with a small object, e.g. cellphone, feeding dish, and the like. He regurgitates all over the object and wants to be near it at all times. I am wise to his ways and always make sure that only washable objects are available to him to fall for. The first time this happened my cellphone was ruined forever. It is the most gross thing but now that I understand why it happens I live with it. Its only during “breeding” season…
