Dont forget to think about the special diet the bird may be on from the breeder. Include those costs also. I pay $23.00 USD for a soak and cook mix and over $40.00 for a pellet mix that goes with a seed mix every 2 months. There are vet bills, wing and claw trims, a cage, special cleaners, toys, play stands, and much more to consider a bird. Its almost as bad as having a child cost wise.
