When I talk to people that aren't familiar with birds, I usually hear one thing every time: "Don't they bite a lot?"

While it's true that our feathered friends aren't shy about those big beaks of theirs, to say that they bite more often than any other type of pet isn't exactly fair.

Check out Why Do Birds Bite So Much? to find out exactly what I mean. What may seem like a bite to you may be something entirely different to a bird!

I have two Sun Conures,

I beleive they are healthy….however as a precaution……I want to give them vitamins…..

They don’t like vegetables and all the good nutirent foods….

I have tried many pellet foods and all they do is throw it around……

With your knowledge what is the best vitamin and should I incorporate it in the food or water…
( I change their water 3 times a day)

Also can you suggest an inexpensive gram scale suitable for weighing the Sun Conures…….

I have enjoyed your site for sometime now…

Thank You,
Regina
