Bird of the Week: Rico the Cherry Headed Conure

After watching "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill", Janet had her heart set on finding a Cherry Headed Conure. After months and months of searching for a breeder, however, she gave up hope on finding one of these funny little birds to call her own. That is, until her luck turned around and she met Rico, a then 6 year old male Cherry Headed Conure in desperate need of a loving home.
