Wednesday April 16, 2008
If you have a cat and want a bird, or vice versa, you should understand that in nature, the two would be enemies -- predator and prey. As such, keeping the two together has the possibility to give rise to some major issues. To learn more about whether or not keeping cats and birds in the same home can work, check out "Can Cats and Birds Live Together?" It may help you determine whether or not you are up to convincing the two to peacefully coexist.

Greetings, in the first part of your
article, you have a photo of a lovebird
sitting on a cat’s head, yet in the
second part you say that birds can get
sick from cat fur. Could you elaborate
on that such as what they catch from the
cat, and if they can play together as in your photo?

Maybe you need to change that photo; it does seem to contradict the advice in the article about no physical contact and about proper supervision.
