Rare White Quaker Parrot Bred in Oklahoma

Thursday June 28, 2007
Jane Jorgensen couldn't believe her eyes when she saw what her pair of blue mutation Quaker Parrots had done -- the birds have hatched a rare solid white baby, one of only about ten in the entire world. The thing that sets this bird apart from many white birds is that it has dark eyes instead of red, meaning that it is not an albino. To read more about this amazing little bird and her breeder, check out the full story of the Rare White Quaker from the Tahlequah Daily Press.
